First Christmas season post, that is. (I shop all year round, but I really don't like to decorate or anything else until after Thanksgiving. And I don't put a tree up until December.)
I'm not particularly religious, but my second favorite part of Christmas is the music, and that particularly includes the religious selections for the seasons. I tend to think of Handel's Messiah as being more appropriate to Easter when I listen to the full score, but I'm happy to hear it at Christmas, too. Anyway, there are some awesome versions out there, my favorite being the Rock version done by the Boston Pops a few years ago. This version of the Hallelujah chorus may have jumped into first place though, even with the slight case of apostrophe abuse that they acknowledge. (I think as fifth graders they get a break.)
Thank you for sharing this - it's probably not only the first but maybe the most creative video of the 2011 Christmas season.

I LOVED it! Particularly the way they split up the words - "eth" was my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

I saw somewhere else online that the video was made for the local area, and they are *shocked* that it's gotten millions of hits. But hey, who can argue with cute kids?

That was great! Thank you. I'm still chuckling. It also brought to mind something you might appreciate: when I used to do the Navy PRT -or whatever it's called these days;I'm retired;-) I put the Hallelujah chorus on my iPod and knew that four times through got me through the bike ride!
