Full Bloom

The cactus in my backyard is in full bloom!

They're open right as I leave for work in the morning and closed by the time I get home in the evening. They only last a day, so I was pretty happy to be able to stop and catch these pictures - the bees were going nuts!

I broke out the long lens for these...wasn't that interested in getting up close and personal, even though I suspect that they were too busy to notice me.

I wonder what cactus blossom honey tastes like? Somebody may well find out soon...
