I got a recommendation for a local bar from someone who lives in my neighborhood this afternoon and about two hours later discovered that the buddy who is going to cat-sit for me this weekend had picked that very spot to wait for me. The tater tots were indeed lovely and the beer was perfect after the short walk from my house to the bar.
