I really thought that I was going to get away with just the one cold this year, but I was wrong. I've been in denial since I woke up over the weekend with a sore throat - after all, the weather went from cold to warm and plants were blooming. It must be allergies, right? Not so much. I've been run a bit ragged trying to keep up with my guys and my guests, which is not helping. So there's not much else to blog about. The only picture is my daily one, also over there in the right sidebar, which is of my mini submersible in the water.
We did some training with that this afternoon which was fun. My guests got their first taste of wire-guiding with a single mission out and back. We clocked it at just over 16 minutes, pretty good for a first try. We told him and he was stunned. He looked at my technician and said "16 minutes? I thought it was two hours!" We promised that it gets easier. (We just didn't say when...)
I did some blog tidying, too. I added a link to my bloglines subscriptions over on the left, because it was easier than adding everything I read to the Typepad blogroll. And I put up the button for Project Spectrum. The colors for February/March are blue, gray and white, so my two WIPs fit quite neatly. I need to start a couple of socks for my class, so I'm going to dig through the stash to hit the gray and white colors since they're not nearly as well represented as blue.
